Sorry about the delay! I've just finalized my experiment process. Below is how the study's going to collect the data for analysis. The first survey is now public for any team is willing to participate in the study to fill out!!
Methodology Abstract
The main study subject will be rookie/first-year FRC participants, with around 5-15 FRC students from each participating team (# depends on team size) responding to 2 tests over a 7 week period. Stage 1: Team Background Information Collection Estimated time to complete: Survey — 5~ min Suggested completion date: 12/31/2019 Respondent: ONE mentor or student from each team (preferably one who knows the team well) Short Description: This survey gathers basic information such as team number, team size, team history, etc. The person to fill out the survey will most likely be the correspondent for the next two stages as well. **This survey is currently public and accepting responses/new study participants. For this research project I will constantly be looking out for any resources centered around my topic: Robotics and Mentoring alike. (If you have one that is not listed, feel free to email me!) This means that this Reference Page will get longer as time goes on. The purpose for this page is to capture all the pre-existing knowledge on my topic and to give a better understanding of where there might be gaps that I can address in my own study later on.
